Regional and Midsize Financial Institutions is responsible for the supervision of financial institutions with assets between $30 billion and $500 billion.
This portfolio includes national banks and federal savings associations with total assets either in a single charter or aggregated among several charters. These institutions are overseen by an Examiner-in-Charge or portfolio manager who provides effective continuous supervision.
